Setting Expectations.

A customer asked how long it would take for his four tires to be mounted and balanced, prior to agreeing to have us do the job. You quoted a half-hour, and it is now thirty minutes later and the job is not complete. He is now insisting on a discount. What is your response?

Customer Safety.

A sad looking woman pulls her car in and asks for you to pump up her left rear tire. Not only can you see the head of a nail, but the tire is nearly bald. When you tell the woman the facts, she tells you she has no money, and no credit card. What do you do or suggest?
 

Laws and Regulations.

A young teen want to purchase four tires and have them mounted on the rims he has in the back of his pick-up truck. These would make the truck ride just inches off the road, if the wheels are mounted on the truck. What do you say to the request?

Knowing Your Options.

A woman wants to purchase a replacement tire for her car. While we do carry the brand that is currently mounted on her car, that particular tire is only available as an OEM tire. What do you tell this potential customer?

Warranty Issues.

 A young man tells you he wants to have his tires replaced under his warranty. You look at his tires and it appears he corners hard because all of his tires show excessive wear on the edge of the tread and sidewalls. What do you say, or do?
